Still no NRH date, Driver Theory Test & Christy Fleming
It’s over a month since the NRH took Robert for his day of assessment and we still have no date for his admittance. This is most frustrating and exhausting: he needs expert input and therapy and it’s there, in Dun Laoghaire, but he’s in St James’s and we’re in limbo still. In the meantime he’s doing great – no antibiotics for months; he has put on some weight, he’s getting quite assertive about his head movements (I want it to go forward – don’t push it back…) and moves his head towards me when I’m speaking privately to him.
I did my Driver Theory Test today and got it. When the girl asked me to sign the back of the photo, I asked: ‘so I got it?; ‘yes, just…’. But I got it. Now all I have to do is 12 lessons and get my proper licence.
Met Christy Fleming of Disrupting Alzheimers today ~ a very interesting man with an amazing approach to life and health. He made me a gift of his book ‘Genie in the Bottle’ which I’m looking forward to reading, and you can visit his website at www.thegenieexperience.com to view a documentary he made and read a bit more about his research and experiences.
